Mr. Zhang graduated from Peking University Law School and Temple University Beasley School of Law with a full-time master’s degree in law and an LL.M. He is currently the Director of the Executive Committee (Executive Director), Managing Partner of Beijing Zhong Lun W&D, and serves as an external tutor for graduate students of Beijing Normal University Law School, specializing in dispute resolution, real estate, finance, entertainment law and cross-border business.
In the field of dispute resolution, Mr. Zhang has represented more than 200 civil and commercial litigation and arbitration cases, including financial trust contract disputes, real estate projects/share transfers, construction in progress project transfers, construction contract disputes, non-performing asset disposal, financial lease disputes and other litigation arbitration and enforcement cases with disputes amounting to hundreds of millions to billions of yuan, and has received additional awards from clients for outstanding professional work.
In the field of real estate and construction engineering, Mr. Zhang is a perennial legal counsel and legal team leader of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the People's Republic of China, Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources and Reserve Center, and was a member of Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
