Currently, twelve professional committees in the GLA have been established, namely the Banking and Finance Committee, the Corporate Law Committee, the M&A and Capital Market Committee, the Property Law Committee, the Dispute Resolution Committee, the Private Client Committee, the Intellectual Property Committee, the Environment, Energy and the Infrastructure Committee, the Food and Medicine Committee, the Middle East’s Business and Development Committee, the Trade Relief Committee, and the Competition Law Committee. Each committee has its person in charge, which helps the continuous growth and development of GLA after its initial establishment.

As a non-profit international organization, GLA is gradually growing under the strategic background of China's “Belt and Road” initiative. Under the guidance of this strategy, the first half of GLA’s annual meeting is the professional one held by lawyers. The the second half is a special project investment seminar attended by entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world, which encourages each member to bring an entrepreneur or investor to participate. Zhonglun W&D established the "Zhonglun W&D Law Institute", "Zhonglun W&D Xiong'an New District Financial and Investment Development Research Center", and "Belt and Road Development Strategy Research Institute” on 23 May 2017 and had the official launch on the same day. Fang Dengfa was appointed as the leader of the Zhonglun W&D Law Institute, Zhen Qinggui as director of the Zhonglun W&D Xiong'an New District Financial and Investment Development Research Center, and Li Zheng as the leader of the Belt and Road Development Strategy Research Institute.
