Zhonglun W&D began its engagement in bankruptcy cases as early as the 1990s. The general office at Beijing has long been a member of the bankruptcy administrators of the Beijing Higher People's Court. The firm has handled a large number of bankruptcy and compulsory liquidation cases as a bankruptcy administrator, and participated in many bankruptcy-related cases acting as legal counsel of the creditor, bankruptcy administrator and the debtor. In 2018, the Beijing general office was selected as a member of administrators for enterprise bankruptcy cases institution of Beijing, and the Tianjin office, Guangzhou office, and Taiyuan office were all selected locally. Zhonglun W&D has cultivated and recruited a large number of outstanding lawyers to undertake bankruptcy-related businesses.

During the practice of more than 20 years, Zhonglun W&D’s Beijing General Office has developed a group of outstanding bankruptcy and restructuring lawyers. To support the legal business in this field, the Bankruptcy Reorganization Law Professional Committee was established in August 2018 agreed by Director Chen Wen and the Executive Committee.
