On April 15, 2025, Zhonglun W&D Law Firm received notification from China General Technology (Group) Holding, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China General Technology Group”) that it has been officially selected into the procurement project (Package 01: Litigation and Arbitration) for the domestic alternative law firm database. This selection was organized and implemented by China General Consulting & Investment Co., Ltd., involving rigorous screening procedures such as qualification reviews, service case evaluations, and dynamic assessments before finalizing the list of selected firms. 

China General Technology Group is a key state-owned enterprise directly managed by the central government, having been listed among the Fortune Global 500 for seven consecutive years. Its business spans core sectors including advanced manufacturing technology, pharmaceutical and healthcare, trade, and engineering services. As of the end of July 2021, the Group operated 488 domestic entities, including 27 industrial subsidiaries and secondary business units, along with 91 overseas branches. It also owns four listed companies: Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd., China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co. Ltd., Genertec Universal Medical Group Co., Ltd., and China Meheco Group Co., Ltd., with a total workforce of 87,000 employees. As a pilot enterprise for state capital investment and operation, its legal service demands are characterized by “high thresholds, specialization, and internationalization”. The litigation and arbitration database requires participating law firms to have handled arbitration cases involving central state-owned enterprises with the amount of subject matter exceeding RMB 100 million within the past three years, as well as experience in cases under the jurisdiction of the Supreme People’s Court or provincial high people’s courts.

 This selection marks a further breakthrough for Zhonglun W&D Law Firm in the field of legal services for state-owned enterprises. Moving forward, the firm will provide full-cycle legal support to the Group, addressing needs such as cross-border disputes in its high-end equipment manufacturing and compliance management in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
