Recently, Zhonglun W&D Law Firm has been successfully selected by National Coal Exchange Co., Ltd. for its panel of external law firms after rigorous evaluation, review, and recommendation by the bidding committee.  The National Coal Exchange Co., Ltd. is a national-level energy trading platform operating under “government guidance and market-driven principles”. Approved by the State Council and led by the National Development and Reform Commission, it was jointly established by China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. and 35 leading enterprises across the coal, power, steel, port, and regional trading center sectors. The National Coal Exchange Co., Ltd. was founded to implement China’s new energy security strategy, deepen supply-side structural reforms in the coal industry, strengthen the coal production-supply-storage-sales system and high-standard energy market infrastructure, and promote modernization in the system and capacity for governance of coal circulation.
