On the afternoon of July 24, our firm hosted a seminar on Singapore legal practices, welcoming three senior legal and tax experts from Singapore—Lisa Theng, Ken Chia, and Lydia Liew. The discussion delved into cross-border legal practices, particularly focusing on company registration, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, taxation, immigration, and exit strategies. The seminar was organized with the assistance of Zhonglun W&D Law Firm’s Training Working Committee and attended by dozens of partners, including Zhengming Li, the firm’s Party Committee Secretary, and Gaochong Hu, Deputy Director, as well as over 30 lawyers and legal assistants both in person and online, fostering a lively exchange of ideas.
The three Singaporean experts shared in-depth insights into the latest developments and practical experiences in the Asia-Pacific legal market, engaging in thorough discussions with attending lawyers on key cross-border legal issues. Both the guests and international experts agreed that the seminar laid a solid foundation for future collaboration, expressing mutual enthusiasm for driving innovation and development in cross-border legal services between China and Singapore.
This event not only strengthened professional interaction between our firm and leading international peers but also provided an excellent opportunity to broaden the global perspective of our lawyers. Moving forward, Zhonglun W&D Law Firm will continue to deepen cooperation with international experts to better assist clients in navigating the challenges of globalized legal practice.
