The 1st Zhonglun Wende National Criminal Practice Seminar Successfully Held in Tianjin
On November 28, 2025, the 1st Zhonglun Wende National Criminal Practice Seminar was grandly held in the meeting hall on the basement floor of Building A, Ronghui Plaza, Nankai District, Tianjin. Hosted by the Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law Professional Committee of Zhonglun Wende Law Firm, organized by the Criminal Committee of Beijing Zhonglun Wende (Tianjin) Law Firm, and co-organized by Beijing Zhonglun Wende (Changsha) Law Firm, the seminar gathered more than 40 elite criminal defense lawyers from over 10 branch offices in Beijing, Tianjin, Changsha, Suzhou, Qingdao, Xi'an, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Kunming, Taiyuan and other cities. They conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge practical topics such as "Case Handling Strategies and Procedural Coordination for Criminal-Civil and Criminal-Administrative Cross Cases".
Distinguished Guests Gather to Kick Off the Grand Event
At 9:00 a.m., the seminar officially kicked off. Lawyer Wang Ze from Tianjin Branch and Lawyer Jiang Xi from Changsha Branch co-hosted the first half of the legal forum.

The core topic of this seminar was "Case Handling Strategies and Procedural Coordination for Criminal-Civil and Criminal-Administrative Cross Cases". With the increasing complexity of the economic and social structure, the same act often triggers civil, administrative and even criminal liabilities simultaneously. How to clarify the boundary of liabilities, optimize procedural connection, and unify evidence standards has become an urgent problem for criminal defense lawyers to solve.

At 14:00 p.m., the seminar entered the second half. Lawyer Mu Feng, director of Tianjin Huichuan Law Firm, director of the Criminal Professional Committee of Tianjin Lawyers Association, and member of the Standing Committee of Tianjin Lawyers Association, gave a thematic lecture titled "'Change' and 'Defense' Under the New Situation".
Based on the current trend of criminal judicial reform, Lawyer Mu Feng explained the law through cases, and analyzed the defense strategies for criminal-administrative-civil cross cases, the understanding and application of the new Supervision Law, and the defense skills for duty-related crimes layer by layer, presenting a wonderful ideological feast for the colleagues present. Lawyer Li Min, director of the Executive Committee of Zhonglun Wende Law Firm, took the stage to deliver a closing speech.
