Mr. Wang Wei held various positions in the People's Bank of China and the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (now the National Financial Regulatory Administration in his early years, engaging in the supervision of foreign banks and having nearly 20 years of experience in industry supervision. After leaving the regulatory authorities, Lawyer Wang Wei has successively held senior management roles in two internationally renowned financial institutions, responsible for bank-related strategic planning, business development, internal control, corporate governance and compliance management in relation to China. During this period, Lawyer Wang Wei also served as a non-executive director of a foreign-funded securities firm, participating in a series of works such as the company's shareholding change, structural reshape and business expansion. In 2024, Lawyer Wang Wei joined Zhong Lun Wende Law Firm, hoping to utilize his rich experience in the financial industry to provide professional and outstanding legal services to clients.
Working Experience:
Mr. Wang has earlier served at the People’s Bank of China and National Financial Regulatory Administration as a banking regulator. He has rich experience overseeing foreign bank supervision, internal control and risk management. After leaving the public sector, Mr. Wang joined UBS and later Credit Suisse as a senior management member in charge of China strategy implementation, governance and control framework build-up, legal and compliance risk management.
