Hong
Haoyi, the Partner of Zhonglun W&D Law Firm, holds a Bachelor's degree from
Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. He obtained Master of Laws
degree in Commercial Law, International Law, Entertainment Law and Corporate
Technology Law from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern
California. He holds certifications including the Senior Corporate Compliance Manager
(SCCM) and The Securities Qualification Certificate. His primary practice areas
encompass corporate and M&A, tax compliance, intellectual property, banking
and finance, and international arbitration. He has undertaken tax compliance
consulting for a leading pharmaceutical distributor, corporate and tax
compliance services for Xiaohongshu and Douyin’s e-commerce businesses, and
risk disposal & asset liquidation verification engagements for a large life
insurance company. As the on-site lead, he managed the risk disposal project of
a Shanghai life insurance company. He has published articles on multiple
platforms after conducting in-depth research on tax compliance, insurance risk
loss absorption mechanisms and international arbitration. He has served as
arbitrator for Moot Shanghai and ALSA, and captain for international
arbitration competitions including Vis Moot and FDI Moot.
