Lawyer Jiang Xi is currently a Senior Partner (concurrently serving as Deputy Director of the Management Committee) at Beijing Zhonglun W&D (Changsha) Law Firm. He holds an LL.B. from Sichuan University and an LL.M. from Central South University. A former senior prosecutor, he also serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Case Study Center at Central South University, a Guest Professor at Hunan University of Technology and Business, and a Practical Tutor for Juris Master students.

With many years of experience working in the procuratorate, Lawyer Jiang Xi possesses extensive case-handling expertise. Since transitioning to legal practice, he has focused on defending major and complex criminal cases, filing criminal accusations on behalf of victims, and providing corporate criminal compliance and risk prevention services. A significant number of the cases he has handled have achieved favorable outcomes.

Duty-Related Crimes


  • Yang Mou Bribery and Bid-Rigging Case: Intervened during the review and prosecution stage. The procuratorate changed the charge from bribery to unit bribery, reducing the amount involved from 9.7 million yuan to 3 million yuan. The court later exempted punishment for bid-rigging and imposed a suspended sentence for bribery. 
  • Wu Moumou  Bribery Case: Intervened during the second-instance stage, after which the court remanded the case for retrial. 
  • Xu Moumou Unit Bribery Case: Received a suspended sentence in the first-instance trial. 

Economic Crimes 

  • Wang Moumou False Issuance of Value-Added Tax Special Invoices Case: Intervened during the review and prosecution stage. The amount involved exceeded 100 million yuan, and the procuratorate ultimately decided not to prosecute due to insufficient evidence. 
  • Long Moumou Illegal Business Operation Case: Intervened during the second-instance appeal. The original suspended sentence was changed to exemption from criminal punishment. 
  • Sun Moumou Illegal Absorption of Public Deposits Case: Intervened during the review and prosecution stage, after which the procuratorate decided not to prosecute due to insufficient evidence. 
  • Xia Mou Embezzlement Case: Involved over 2 million yuan. During the arrest approval stage, the procuratorate decided not to approve the arrest due to insufficient evidence, and later decided not to prosecute for the same reason. 
  • Deng Moumou Illegal Business Operation Case: Originally charged with fraud by the investigative authority during the review and prosecution stage, the charge was changed to illegal business operation, and the client was granted bail. The final verdict was a suspended sentence, with partial restitution of illicit proceeds. 

Other Common Crimes 

  • Pan Moumou Organizing Prostitution Case: Involved a well-known high-end club in Changsha with dozens of suspects. Intervened during the trial stage. The court later changed the charge from organizing prostitution to assisting in organizing prostitution, significantly reducing the sentence. 
  • Xiang Moumou Organizing Prostitution Case: Intervened during the trial stage. The procuratorate initially identified 10 individuals involved in prostitution, classifying it as a serious offense. After defense efforts, the court recognized 8 individuals and acknowledged mitigating circumstances such as meritorious service. The original sentence of over 10 years was reduced to 4 years of imprisonment. 
  • Shi Moumou Illegal Trading of Cultural Relics Case: The first-instance sentence was 5 years, which was reduced to 2 years and 6 months in the second instance.
