On September 24, 2018, The American Lawyer published "Headcount Rankings of Global 100 Law Firms in 2018". The headcount of Zhonglun W&D grew rapidly, going up from the 91st place in 2017 to the 19th place in the international law firm rankings, and ranked the 9th in China.

Zhonglun W&D was successfully selected as Top 50 Asia-Pacific Law Firms in Terms of Scale and Top 50 Asia-Pacific Law Firms in Terms of Number of Lawyers Globally, ranking the 6th and 8th respectively.
